Downside: My kids have already made me cry.
I took all the kids to the chiropractor with me for my adjustment and to have Ethan and Paige evaluated because their allergies have been so awful this Spring.
Needless to say, the morning started out bad but just got worse. I won't go into all the whining details because I know everyone of you mothers understand. I brought activities for them to do but I wasn't expecting to be there for 1 hour and 45 minutes!!!!! By the time I got home, I isolated myself into my room and called David. I was so frustrated, I was shaking and somehow the tears just started. (I guess it was because I knew I had to leave in 45 minutes to take all of them with me to Evan's Speech class.)
Upside:
1. David suggested I go out with a girlfriend tonight.
2. I got an email for a girlfriend saying we should hang out and she even invited my family over for dinner ! : D This alone made my day!
3. I'm at Dollar Tree picking up my Sunday papers. A man, probably in his mid- 40's, walks up to me and says,
"Ma'am?
"Yes?" I'm thinking, oh gosh, he's calling the police on me because I left my 4 crazy kids in the car and they are probably out there screaming or yelling at the innocent patrons through their windows.
But instead, he says, "Nice haircut." And walks off to do his shopping. :D
Wow, my Heavenly Father really knows when I need a pick-me-up. Each of these incidences alone would have done it, but I got all three. I am a lucky lady!

I wish that I could be the one going out with you tonight, I could sure use it!! Sorry, but I laughed at your chiropractor story. Not because it was funny, I know it wasn't, but because I have SO BEEN THERE!! The dentist HATES ME and has actually asked me to take my children outside the office to wait...sigh. So, I'm glad things are looking up. And about that hair cut...I thought you were rocking it Sunday! I'll catch up with ya later, hope the rest of track out is much, much better!!
