After a little over two years as the ward Emergency Prepardness Coordinator, I was released and asked to be one of the two new Sunbeam teachers in our ward. As I was being extended this calling, I have to admit that I was trying to hold back the tears. First of all, I wasn't expecting it, plus, I LOVE going to Gospel Doctrine and Relief Society. The other big reason for the tears, there are 19 of them (15 active)! I have now had two weeks with them and I can honestly say that I have loved being with them. Our lessons are as long as our FHE at home (about 3 minutes), so I am used to that. There is crying for parents, yep, used to that. There is wrestling, daydreaming, running to go potty, yep, yep, yep, used to all that.
But, there was something I have not heard before. One of the boys was sitting next to me during closing exercises and when I told him he couldn't hold my large paper roll he looks as me and calmly says,. . . "You look like Yoda."
Nope, haven't heard that one before!

Yoda! Was it my Nathan who said that??
Nathan talks about going to Sunbeams throughout the week, so I know he's having a good time. Thank you for all you do for him and the class!!
HAHAHAHA HAHAHA HAHA....
Well, Erin, I wasn't going to name any names. . . .
LOL! That is hilarious! We have over 17 new sunbeams in our ward too, although we split them into two classes. I almost feel like I have to apologize for you getting called to that calling...maybe it's b/c I am primary pres in our ward and jsut called three new teachers (out of 4) to that same calling. ;)
