Kids do the grossest things!

There are some things that I just have to get over and deal with being a "semi" germaphobe. Being a mom, for one, has given me lots of opportunities to do just this. I have to let you all know that there are certain things that still make my stomach squirm, even after 8 years of motherhood. This is a SMALL list of things my children insist on doing during the different stages of their life.

-showing me bugs with all their legs going everywhere and asking me if I think their cute - um, NO!

-picking their noses and a.) wiping it on my wall, bathroom sinks, etc. or b.)eating it!

-thinking taking a shower consists of only water

-not flushing the toilet every time!

-touching anything in a public restroom

-asking me to hold/chase/catch their gerbils or help clean their cage - nope, not going to happen!

But,nothing can compare with this last one which is, to me, the grossest thing in the entire world. And to add to all of it, my boys think its funny when I start freaking out! Apparently it makes them happy to DRINK BATH WATER AFTER THEIR BATHS!!!!

EEWWW! Ella does the same thing and I scream NO! Then Ryan hands Ella my toothbrush while she's in the tub (gross) and she drops it in the water and he can't figure out why I throw it away! What is wrong with these people/kids? Haven't we taught them anything? Or is it just the look of terror on our face that makes them so full of glee! Go pick on someone your own size!!...but not your brother...or your sister...come to think of it, just quit bugging everyone. There, problem solved.
