I haven't ever posted my deals here, because I didn't want to seem like I was bragging. But, I saw what nice things Nika posted about me on her blog so I wanted to show that I actually can coupon and not just talk about it! Last night at 8:45 pm I decided to go to Walgreen's even though I really didn't want to. I ened up with GREAT deals.
I got everything pictured for $10.xx (nothing out of pocket since I paid with the gift card I got for doing last months rebates.)and received $20 worth of catalina's. Original price would've been $60.xx. Here's how I did it:

Deal #1
1. Deal on Robitussin buy 3 get $10 RR
2. Printed out $3 coupons for each from computer
3. Bought 3 @ 3.99 = $12 -9 = 3.78 (with tax)
4. Received $10 catalina (THAT'S A $6 PROFIT!!)

Deal #2
1. Buy 7 listed cleaning items get $10 RR
2. Printed out coupons for various products and used ones from the Sunday paper
3. Bought 7 products, a couple of the ones I had better coupons for were sold out
4. Used $6.50 in my coupons, then handed them the $10 catalina from previous purchase. The coupon catalina wouldn't work since I bought 7 items and already used 7 coupons, so I had to throw in the pack of trident gum for it not to beep!
5. Paid $3.38, received another $10 catalina

Deal #3
1. See Robitussin above
2. Since I didn't load up on other items, I didn't use the catalina I just recieved. I paid $3.78 and got my second $10 catalina.

Game Plan:
Use the 2 $10 catalinas to buy the other Free after Rebate items and continue to roll over month after month. This way, I continue to get items for free! I love this hobby. I love people paying me to take things out of their store!

you are amazing! I don't know if I will ever compare to your bargain shopping skills! I have moved from a coupon pouch to a coupon binder though! That is something! I'm trying Rebecca, I'm trying....

Very impressive! So, I'm assuming a Catalina is a store credit???

Catalina is actually the company that puts out those coupons at the check out. They can be store credits, or a coupon that is generated because you bought something specific.
