We have Fifth Disease! It sounds like something bad, doesn't it? Evan has had a rash for a couple of weeks, Ethan and I had it last week, and Rylee is showing signs of it now. I took Evan to the Doctor today and as soon as she saw him she knew what it was. It a viral disease that just causes cold symptoms in children, but lucky me, I have the worst of it. My joints have swollen up to where I can't even move my wedding ring so I just took it off a couple of days ago. I seriously thought I was getting arthritis in my old age because the joints in my feet even hurt. I am constantly itching everywhere. Luckily, we aren't contagious. Here's what we've looked like!

Nathan had fifth disease several months ago. Then my hands started hurting so bad that I made a doctor's appt. to see what was going on. I thought I had arthritis, too! It manifests itself as cold symptoms in kids and in adults it's joint pain. Thankfully, mine was only in my hands and lasted maybe 2 weeks. I feel your pain.......
Dade had 5th disease when he was younger. They told me to let his primary teachers know because if there was anyone who was pregnant who was exposed it could be dangerous to the fetus. I have a friend in 1st ward who lost her baby after catching it while she was pregnant some years ago. It may just be if you're exposed to it in the first trimester, but I can't remember. Sorry you're itching, I hope everyone gets better soon!!
Ugh no fun...Mine had it a few months back and they got the sore throats REAL bad
