This week . . .

I finally remembered to put pictures of Ethan's birthday celebration on my blog. His birthday was May 12th and we had a nice, quiet family party for his 4th birthday. I would put more pictures on here, but everytime I tried to get a picture, he managed to turn around. He was so excited to get the Alvin & the Chipmunks DVD, and a horn for his scooter that he was just mildly interested in the other gifts we bought for him. He loved the Red Velvet cake with chocolate frosting (yuck) that he wanted, but my lack of artstic cake design skills has left most others uninterested and 1/2 the cake still left in the pan over a week later! Happy Birthday, Buddy, We love you so much and we're so happy to have you as a part of our family!

This past week has gone by really quickly for me. David's sister, Carolyn, had her 2nd child, Jonathan Richard, two days ago and we are so excited to go meet him in July! We FINALLY got plane tickets to go to Utah so we can see all of David's family, my sister and her husband, and to have Paige baptized. My mom and my sister got tickets for the same flights so they'll be able to see the baptism as well. My sister, Kimberly, has never been on a plane, so she is beside herself with excitement! Also this week, I made another batch of strawberry jam and more homemade bread today. I'm wondering if I will get sick of the bread because when its fresh, I have to truely try my hardest to resist the temptations of eating 1/2 a loaf in one sitting. It is SOOOOO good. I wish I had other interesting tidbits to talk about, but I really don't. Everything is plugging along well. I have to go prepare a lesson for Relief Society on Sunday.
