I had NO idea

The following is a conversation between Evan (age 4) and myself.

I'm making grilled cheese for him for lunch and he comes over with his new toy dragon.

E: Mom, what's this say? (He's pointing to the underside of the dragon)

R: I'm checking the grilled cheese so I respond, "It probably says, "made in China."

I take it into my hand and say, "Yep, it says 'China' on it."

E: Everything is made in China! My toy, and my oranges are made in China.

R: Well, your oranges are probably not from China, . . well, at least I hope their not.

Turn the can around and see this:

Yep, it's true-- most canned mandarins come from China. (That's why you see a lot of name brands like "Geisha.")
