Thanksgiving day was a blast. There were 28 people there and with the meal being potluck, there was enough to go around!
Sadly enough, with all the fun we had of keeping up with the kids, I didn't get any pictures with Kathryn. But, I did manage a few on our field trip to see the Louisville Slugger Museum.
I also need to document that while we were at the museum, Ethan totally disappeared. It is not a huge place. Scott had the other kids in a closed room and David and I were looking feverishly for Ethan. I was walking to the security table, after looking around for 5+ minutes, when a man walked in the front door and asked if I was looking for a little boy. David and I ran out and found Ethan down the block sitting with a family who had stopped him from crossing a busy street. When we asked him why he left he said, "'Cause I felt like it." -- NICE!
Paige was starting to feel sick the morning we left for the museum, so she stayed with Kathryn and her 2 youngest boys. While at the museum, Rylee started feeling really sick. By the time we got to the Farnsworths that afternoon, she and Paige have a fever between 100 & 101.8. Because this was the last day there, and the day the adults planned our "date", we had to cancel.
Overall, I had a great time being with old friends. The ride home, well, that's another story.
