What a small world!

I decided to do my weekly shopping late last night. I went to Harris Teeter and then to Lowe's Food. It was about 11pm when I was checking out and I was tired. As I pull up to the checkout, the cashier sees my coupon binder and starts talking about how she had a woman save 50% on her bill. To brag about my skills, I tell her I had just gone to HT and saved $70 and spent $25. She was impressed and said her sister-in-law was really into couponing and had taken a class at her church. I told her I also taught coupon classes. The cashier starts telling about her 2 young children, and how she doesn't have a lot of time to organize coupons but her sister-in-law did coupons all of the time. Then, (remembering what was taught at the Adult Session of Stake Conference)

I asked which church her SIL took her class.

cashier: "some church in Wendell. She's Mormon."

Me: "ME TOO! What's her name?"

Cashier: "Christy Sxxxxxxxxxxxx".

Me: "No way! She is a dear sweet friend of mine. I'm the one that taught her coupon class!

Cashier: "She's the one that told me of the awesome diaper deal at Walgreens. My husband and I saved so much money buying all those packs."

Me: "I emailed Christy that deal. That's so great! I'm glad I could help you! What a small world."

This late night conversation made my day.
