We are now back to square one. This is the reason I never told anyone of our plans until I thought they were set. There is SO much involved in getting a new business started. While completing the 17 items our bank needed from us to process the loan, I needed to work on getting a city business license before I could get the state business license. One of the requirements for the city of Cottonwood Heights is to have the building inspected by the fire department to make sure it would pass the fire codes. While doing this, David was working with the architect who was trying to figure out all the proper building codes. In the plans David drew up, he had wanted a backdoor. The Department of Health, Bureau of Child Care Licensing said that a back door wasn't required. Just for future reference to anyone wanting to start a business, fire codes trump all! The building we had a lease with doesn't have a back door (the back is 9 feet underground), or access to sprinklers. To make a long story even longer, we are now trying to find a new place for the business. THEN, we need to:
-have the place approve us and sign a lease
-have contractors place bid proposals on how much it would cost to do a building fit-up
-draw up new plans for the architect
-submit our new location to the bank, along with 20 other things that are required.
We are and have been in the Lords hands when it comes to all of this. I realize that if we are supposed to be out their with family, then it will happen. We keep taking steps in that direction and will continue to wait for the door to open so we can walk (or crawl) through. So the moral of this story is, we don't know how long we'll be here now.

Oh, no!!! That's awful!!
I hope things go smoothly for you--it's always stressful when you are trying to move or starting a new job--doing both at the same time and being in charge of the job yourself...I can't even imagine!! Best of luck!
