BIG EXCITING NEWS!

Okay y'all, for those of you who read my blog will get this news first. Are you ready,. . . it's huge!

I'm not pregnant!

But I think just as huge! WE ARE MOVING!

Where to?

UTAH!

Why?

David doesn't like being an architect and his entire family is in Utah. Also, . . .

we are going to be starting a business. We just found out we were approved for our loan. I know the economy is awful, I know the housing market is awful, I know that we won't have a way to pay back the loan or pay the rent of the building we are using if this thing goes south, but we have prayed, fasted and feel that this is what we should do and this is where we are supposed to be at this time. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared out of my mind. But, I have been given peace about this whole situation (thanks Michelle C. for planting this idea in my mind!)

Oh, I forgot to mention what the business was. We are starting an hourly child care center. We have been blessed in so many ways seeing this business plan unfold and come together in the past 6 months. It has been a long process, but we are moving forward. And it will be QUICK! We have to OPEN for business in about 4 months. That being said, we will be putting our house on the market, and flying out to UT quite a bit as we work with the contractors as they put our business together, find a home, close on our bank loan, shop for business necessities, etc. It is an exciting time in the Fisher household and remember, you read it here first!

Wow, that is so exciting Rebecca. You will be greatly missed here, but it's possible Andrew and I may be out in Utah in about 9 months as well if he gets into BYU's MBA program and not UNC's, but we'll have to see. Andrew always says the west is the best and the east is a beast. That's great that you will be able to be by David's family. We definitely won't be here for long, that's for sure. Let me know if you need anything (help packing, moving, etc.)

You had better practice your "I am better than you because I live in UT" attitude right now! You don't want to start behind the curve. J/K. I am really excited for you and think that the business will do great.
