Simple Truths

There are some things I have learned for myself to be simple truths. Without giving you the exhaustive list, I will tell you about one more I discovered yesterday. People, i.e. me, that have Type A personalities SHOULD NOT play the game "Memory" with toddlers/ preschool age children.

I have purchased this game for each of my children and each time I play with with them, it becomes more of a chore. It is good practice, in theory, for me to learn the art of deep breathing and relaxation. The game is recommended for children 3+, but I would have to say 6+. I need to have the chaos under control and I can't do that when everyone is grabbing cards and putting them back in any 'ol direction. Also, what is with putting in 50 different pairs for a children't game? I only play with 20 pairs and that's still overwhelming!I know, I need to learn to mellow out, it's just a game.
