The last weekend of our girls' track out we decided to spend up in MD with my family. Even though it was a short trip, I had so much fun. It was literally freezing, but we went into DC to see where my mom lived until she was 3, the 2 cemeteries where a lot of my relatives are buried, to visit museums and to visit the Washington monument. I had lived in MD until I was 26 and had never gone to the top. We couldn't get tickets to go up, so maybe next time we'll plan in advance and get tickets for the White House (something else I've never visited) and the Washington Monument.

During the month of February, David took the girls to see the circus. We've tried to take everyone before and, let's just say, it was less than a fun event.
And last but not least, I have to put pictures of the snow "storm" from back in January. (I have to put it in quotes for all my Utah friends who will laugh at the term. Remember, I do live in the South!) I love it when it snows. I put food in the crock pot and go out and play with the kids. We had a lot of fun; for the entire 40 minutes we were outside!

Hi Rebecca! Cute family. I guess I would be one of the Utahns to laugh about your snow. I would give anything for ours to go away. My son got to play outside for a little bit today, but it was still 40 degrees. We live in Heber so winter is about 6 weeks longer than in the valley. Oh well, it will be spring soon enough. Are you guys still planning on moving here? We should get together sometime if you do.
